I like eraseable pen (becomes permanent after a day or so) and mechanical pencils. I hate writing in regular pencil or pen.

Actually, that's a common misconception. They both used pens, because pencils may break and/or puncture suits, and the dust floats around the air.

Yes, they featured these pens on How It's Made. The ink needed to be much thicker and there are some other very specific things about them.
