Gross? One is more than enough -- 144 of them would sink the stadium to oblivion...
It seems a masculine method of ignoring the morbidity of the inevitable, Terri: my uncle neglects to inform me that my aunt, his youngest sister, is in a nursing home; a niece (my barely older cousin), and two of his youngest natural children (my younger cousins) are dead along with his younger stepchild. This 'joke', however, along with many other similar, he's continually posted in my e-mail during the past half-decade this was all occuring.
