Hard economy spreads overseas

What are you laughing at?

Hard economy spreads overseas

Postby Al_Fallujah » Wed Oct 15, 2008 10:15 am

The Sumo bank has gone belly up.

The Kamikaze bank has nosedived.

Meanwhile the Karate bank is chopping back.

The Origami bank folded last week.

And something smells fishy at the Sushi bank where workers are worried they will get a raw deal.

Statements from Ninja bank indicate they are still operating in the black and making a quiet killing.

Bonsai bank is managing by cutting back several branches.

Across the street,

A fairly good job of reporting, Al_Fallujah.
Further developments are being awaited, especially with the Sudoku Investments, which is solving various problems.
Here is your developmental upate:

The Sumo bank has gone belly up.
They're not down for the count, yet. They are still wrestling in the situation.

The Kamikaze bank has nosedived.
There wasn't much hope here. Attempts to continue are suicidal.

Meanwhile the Karate bank is chopping back.
Firm representatives assert they're still alive and kicking.

The Origami bank folded last week.
A sad situation for stock holders and investors; nothing was worth the paper it was printed on.

Something smells fishy at the Sushi bank where workers are worried they will get a raw deal.
Although much of their product has been scaled back, they're still serving their customers. Workers' concerns have been brought to the table but not much is cooking.

Statements from Ninja bank indicate they are still operating in the black and making a quiet killing.
Star performers -- they've always had a keen edge.

Bonsai bank is managing by cutting back several branches.
They've always managed on very little -- not much of a root source.

The Karaoke bank has been sold for a song.
There's not much to report here. They were totally at a loss for words.

The Samurai bank is experiencing sharp cutbacks, but still soldiers on.
They are still fighting but they've lost some of their smaller branches to the main component of another financial realm, Hari Kari Brokers.

Godzilla S&L is facing monstrous debt.
This has been a huge disaster. Some have seen everything they've built crumble.

The Shitake hedge fund was said to be mushrooming after taking short positions.
If they don't maintain their growth, nothing good will stem from it; if they persevere, they should branch out.
