I saw on the news recently that an oil company (forgot the name) will start holding back on oil production, so the price doesnt drop too much. :-? If that isnt the definition of dickweed, then what is.

My grandmother said my grandfather complained in 1925 when gas was .15 cents a gallon.
My dad complained in the 60's when it was something like .50 cents a gallon.
In the 70's it was somewhere around .75 cents a gallon and I think it finally hit a $1.00 a gallon sometime in the 80's. So it took approx 55 years for it to go up .85 cents. Now, it can do that in a week and take years to go back down. Makes you wonder doesn't it..... :-?
You got a good deal -- it was @ 30 cents per gallon in NH -- but I'd like to get it for .75 cents per gallon; even at 75 cents per gallon I could more readily afford a gasoline-engined vehicle until I had something more ecologically proper.In the 70's it was somewhere around .75 cents a gallon...
