supassing bounderies of stupidity

supassing bounderies of stupidity

Postby trojan rabbit » Sun May 13, 2007 10:54 pm

forgive me, this joke is pretty stupid-

The rigors of the English language was too much for one Irish priest, whose tongue could simply not cope with the colloquial dialect.  At one of his first weddings after the bride and groom had kissed, he announced "When we leave, please join us for refreshments at the conception"

My first thought at reading the title: are we going to sup on soup -- or are we sitting in our supper? Dang cannibals! ::) :P

Ministers/priests do occasionally get tongue twisted; sometimes what's actually said from the pulpit... :o
Here's a 'fill in the blank' from an actual church sermon*:
"...and, and Samson picked up his jaw... and slew those, those Philistine a_ _ _ _..." :-X

*No, it was not one of mine!
