A Politically Correct Christmas

What are you laughing at?

A Politically Correct Christmas

Postby masmith » Mon Dec 25, 2006 6:01 am

Found this on PPrune quit funny...But I did not think it should go in the Humour section as it is quite correct...

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced with the most enjoyable traditions of religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated in recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make my country great and without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of their wishes.

By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms:

This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.

Disclaimer: No trees were harmed in the sending of this message; however, a significant number of electrons were slightly inconvenienced
.

Merry Christmas to all

I take offence to this message for the following reason. This message has implied that Christmas, the celebration of our Lord and savior is in fact the heathen ritual of sun worship on the shortest day of the year. Because of this and the trauma I have suffered because of this I am contacting my lawyer as regards sueing you for mental damages.

You obviously missed our late night get together, sacrificing a Virgin on the 22nd of December, (Winter Solstice), watching the Sun appear through a hole in a stone, followed by a knees up round Stonehenge... ;)...!

Much fun a merriment was had by all... ;D...!

Doin' it again next year....Virgins need to apply early to ensure a place on the Altar... 8-)...!

Now what's this Christmas malarky all about... ::)...?

Paul....another can of worms....;)...!

Well, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a good New Year to all.  We deserve it.  After all, we'd all rather be flying.

politically correct eh? I can try being politically correct!

You are all Respectable legal Male/Female Citizen of African/Icelandic/European/Asian/African/Meso-American/North American/South American/Antarctican descent. And if you hurt Mommy Natures children you are a most unpleasant person and i hope you get what's coming to you! A good talking too!

And geez paul! Sacrificial Virgins, er, Respectable Female Citizens of Geez those Beeches are freaking crazy! decent, are people too ya know! Not something you can pack up in a box and send overseas! There just like you and me! Young women who believe in abstenence and killing themselves to please satan. On the other hand they are rather "off there rocker".

Is that politically correct enough?
