Couple of months back, there was a Cessna that did make an emergency landing a highway not far from where I live...

A guy I knew put a Cessna down on an interstate just a few months back.  They are darn handy for such, especially when you figure flaps up approach speed for a small plane is usually close to highway speeds.

Quick thinking pilot seems did not loose it in the emergency.
