No wonder you Europeans don't like cofee. When stopped in Germany for a few hours, I was about to buy a cup of coffee, but one of my buddies bought a cup, and said it was the nastiest thing he had ever tasted. It seems that coffee generally gets worse the further you get from Seattle

France, Belgium, Holland and Italy are all big coffee countries, you just have to go to the right places for your hollidays.  ;)

No.  People like large monkeys without hair.  COFFEE like coffee . . . ;)

There's nothing wrong with coffee shops.  I'm sitting in one right now, typing this, and I'm wired like a chihuahua!

And the best coffee comes from small, independently owned shops where the manager/owner is the one standing behind the bar serving the drinks.  That's the best way to ensure you get the coffee you really want.  Starbucks is for a quick jolt before work and that's it.  Nothing good ever came out of a Starbucks except for the guy with the keys locking it up at night. ;)
