Simple... basically if the post box remained empty than you'd see nothing... But now there is an anomaly in the bost box which you can see... so even if it's just a black box.. it is something and you can see it.. so it aint nothing!

Agreed, but when you see nothing you see black...its just your consciousness's way of displaying the information given...

LOL this is a stupid arguement though, and i can think of examples where both are arguements are flawed so im gonna stop now... ;D

How can you think of examples? If there is a space for blackness to be seen then it's not nothing because it's a space. Nothing is nothing, it has no colour, no mass, no, dimensions, no nothing.

See this is why i think its stupid, we are just going round in circles...and we are moving further and further from the original point lol

Basically if nothing is there, no light will be reflected from this 'nothing' with no dimensions, colour, mass etc...and you will see black!

How could you see it if nothing was there? If you see black then what you're seeing is a big empty space with no light. Not nothing.

The nothing which you are talking about does not exist, but it is conceived by operations of the mind. Im talking about nothing in physics terms, not just making up stuff in my head...which it is impossible to argue about... :P

Fine. Finished. I was talking about nothing in the literal sense of the word. In a physical sense nothing is impossible for there is always something there even if to all intents and purposes that something is "nothing". ;D 8)

Didn't we discuss nothing at great lengths recently?

Also, you know there used to be a show about nothing, perhaps we should look there for answers. I'm sure that whatever it provides will amount to ... not much.  :P
