There was a recent event when someone pointed at a plant and said, "...the Jupiter."
I said, "Jupiter's the largest planet in our solar system. If that juniper is Jupiter, we've just gone out of orbit or one of us is lost in space."
Which is akin to:
someone wrote on the chalkboard, "Shoot for the moon; if you miss you'll still be among the stars."
To which I quipped, "...and lost in space."
PS Just don't call me a pessimist; I don't know what a pessi is and, if I shot in its direction, it wasn't missed because I wasn't aiming at it, anyway.
