I imagine by the time mommy and daddy got all that dry paint off via scrubbing like mad, the kids probably wouldn't want to do that again. Heck, that would be more torture to the kids than a good paddling and would be remembered allot longer. ;D

Probably the parents took this picture for future blackmail and also to show the judge in case someone complained after seeing bruises associated with a good old fashion scrubbing.
I would let the paint dry for a couple of days. Then see if he's still smiling like he is now. After that they can remove the paint from the floor with a toothbrush and pay back for the tv out of their piggy bank. That is how they will remember and never do it again.
