Hehe. That was quite common on my last job back at Little Rock. ;D

Most prescription that patients take for their entire lives are not allowed to have a refill. Especially if the prescription involves certain narcotics. This is due to federal and state regulations. Basically, the patient needs to get a new hand-written prescription from the doc every time the medication run out.
