Why the hell they did it... Don't have a clue but it's just so and so funny!

At least they try. They might not be able to sing but just do it. Go stand in the middle of a full stadium and sing a song. I would spoil my pants probably. On the other hand it is kind of pathetic. Don't know who organised it, I think they had a good laugh about it.

It has nothing to do with trying-often, these people (and many, many others on AI) are genuine nutcases-they think they have the most beautiful voice in the world.  It's a classic psychology case of a disconnect between reality and self-image, and is a diagnosable mental disoerder.
