I can tell you that on the M18 Claymore fragmentation mine that it has, "Front Toward Enemy"

I've actually seen some idiot place them on the perimeter of a firebase with the wrong side facing into the firebase.... ::)

My freind has an empty one-use rocket launcher, and it does say "aim toward enemy" on it.

well, a piece from a german field manual:

"with advancing dusk darkness has to be expected"
the reasonable man adjusts to his souroundings, while the unreasonable man insists on adjusting his souroundings to him.

therefore all progress is due to the unreasonable man.

In many if not all US Military field manuals (at least back in the 60's and 70's). There are numerous blank pages throughout the manuals. Most of them are in the back of the manuals. Most are used for notes. Well at the tops of each of these "blank" pages is written, "This page left blank intentionally". By virtue of the writing at the top of the page. The page is no longer "Blank"....lmao

Yeah, in all the state and federally mandated academic tests that we have to take in the US, all of them have 'blank' pages marked "This page is intentionally blank and has no test materials"

LMAO at the original joke.
