if you fly FS so much and do it properly and your mom lets you drive for the first time and you do it like you have for years and years because its not multitasking

You see someone (for reasons unknown) has put the front seat to their truck out on the front lawn, and you say, "That would work so well in a pit."

(Happened yesterday.)
Great edit, Bob.

You have a joystick, yoke, and pedals

You do not turn the wheel in a car because you are so used to a yoke

You logged 4+ hours in a day

You forget to eat because there is a fly-in and you can't miss it

Your computer is totally deticated to FS and nothing else

You can't wait to get home and fly

You compete with other people to fly the longest

You are happy because you have $35,000...in a virtual airline (livewire www.flightbase2000.com)

You marvel in how well you have landed a Canadair Jet on the ILS glideslope

You study the instruments on the virtual panel and can actually relate to it

You know exactly what the airline pilot is doing on every leg of the flight

You constantly badger others about flying and FS

You fly with a 65 year old and talk to him over teamspeak on a multiplay server.

Great!

You refer to the warning lights on the dashboard of your car as annunciators, and the check engine light as master caution light.

You look out the window while flying in real life and say "Wish I had better FPS..."

You pull up to a gate in FS and it ACTUALLY lines up, and you say loud enough for everyone to hear "KICKASS!"

(just happened when I pulled into JFK in my MD-11 ;D)

you are on a plane and you ask the pilot where he downloaded the "photoreal" gauges from.
                                        or
you ask the pilot how he got his surround sound working so well

You refer to the cruise control in your car as the autopilot...

You contact the tower to get takeoff clearance before you turn onto the highway.... ;D
Would be bad if a voice came back saying....Permission denied, at this time highway is IFR only!!!!! :o

You are on a flight to New York from Heathrow and you say to the person sitting next to you, "I wish the pilot woud turn the slew-mode on to at least 3X - I'm getting bored!"

Or you are looking for a car park in town and ask the traffic warden, "Where is the nearest hangar?!"
