Just because there's genocide going on in the rest of the world, it does not mean that someone isn't allowed to care about a cat.


Of course. However, he was comparing the two as if they had the same degree of severity. Human life is more valuable than a cats life.

To me an animal life is equal to a human life! After all, we are animals to, and if not... we certainly behave like them...

I totally disagree. All the other animals are much better-behaved than humans, on average.
