old people joke

What are you laughing at?

old people joke

Postby ozzy72 » Tue Jan 18, 2005 3:37 pm

An elderly couple had dinner at another couple's house, and after eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen.
The two elderly gentlemen were talking, and one said,
"Last night we went out to a new restaurant, and it was really great. I would recommend it very highly.
" The other man said, "What's the name of the restaurant?"
The first man knits his brow in obvious concentration, and finally said to his companion, "Aahh, what is the name of that red flower you  give to someone you love?
" His friends replies, "A Carnation??"
"No. No. The other one," the man says.
His friend offers another suggestion, "The Poppy?"
"Nahhhh," growls the man. "You know the one that is red and has thorns.
" His friend said, "Do you mean a rose?"
"Yes, Yes that's it. Thank you!" the first man says.
He then turns toward the kitchen and yells, "Rose, what's the name of that
restaurant we went to last night?"

I've noticed that you're posting a lot of old people jokes recently, are they connected to anything? :P

I guess I'm really in trouble.....lol....I don't forget my wifes name to often. But I tend to forget my own name from time to time....lmao....pain meds tend to make you do these stupid things a bit premature of "old" age, although I'm fast approaching that age bracket.  ;D

And THAT is the best excuse you could come up with in front of the judge on Monday morning for wearing your underwear on your head and kidnapping your neighbours goat? Romulus you need to get a more Brothers Grimm motif in your excuses ;) ;D
