Police catching criminals...

What are you laughing at?

Police catching criminals...

From a Police blog

SMOKING TO BE BANNED! HOORAY!
How about this for an easy detection:
"Hello, is that the police?"
"Yes."
"I'd like to report people smoking in an enclosed public place."
"How many can you see smoking?"
"About 10."
[Call taker generates 10 new crime numbers]
"We'll send a patrol down immediately."
"Thank you, I'm really worried about my unborn child and the effects of cigarettes smoke."
"Caller, would you stay on the line until the police arrive, in case any of the smokers make a run for it?"
"Yes certainly."
The police arrive and issue tickets for the offence of smoking in an enclosed public place. Ten tickets issued, ten crime numbers and ten detections. A 100% detection rate! So even if there are two domestic burglaries and no evidence, the detection rate will be a massive 83%!!!

Long live statistics! ;D ;D ;D

Kill statistics!  >:(

I'd have a 4.0 right now if it wasn't for statistics!

Luckily the semester isn't over yet...

I'll be happy to get a C in that class... :-(

Oh yeah.

You should try AP physics with fluid dynamics. I never thought i could hate water and air.

lol, I passed both Advcanced college physics with an A... :-)

And I'm currently doing just as well in Hydraulics and pnuematics which is essentially a fluid power class.. ;-)

I don't have a problem with things like physics, but you get statistics with all of those greek symbols, and the bad prof. then I'm done for...

GCSE physics was enough for me.... ;)
I'm doing accountancy though - but that's proper figures not greek chaos.... ;)

Try an engineering structures or mechanics course.
