Simple, none of the above is the answer. A ton is a standard unit of measurement that never changes.

LOL, I'm beginning to not like you James.................................... :-/

When I was a kid (which I still feel like one  :P) my dad would always ask me "which is heavier, a pound of gold or a pound of feathers?" and I would always answer "gold of course" and my dad would always tell me that I'm wrong.............but then a while later, I found out that I been right all these years  :o :o :o I read it in some encylopedia (ye yah, hold all your loser remarks till after I'm done) that Au was weighed on a different scale, and a pound of Au was accutally heavier than a pound of something else :o

Jeff.............................see we learn something new everyday ;)

I leared today that a "tsaress (sp?)" is accutally a female Russian absolute monarch, and not a brand of cat food...................................... :P
