How do you spell "Canada"?

What are you laughing at?

I'm not sure if Steve & blackbird are the only American posting in this thread, but oh well... And we like gallons instead of litres...

Actually I'm Canadian,
which adds to the confusion.
Seeing how Canada is a Commonwealth country, and should follow the examples(most) the UK has set before us.

And I prefer litres much more than gallons.
Base ten is so much easier to understand.

As far as I've always been told, it's always the quotation mark at the end of the sentence.  It takes priority over everything else.

not if its a quote within a question provided the quote isn't a question, otherewise the quote becomes a question... I'm still to tired to make sense ain't I  ::)

No, everyone else is just smart enough to remain neutral. ;)

Sometimes the puctuation goes inside, sometimes it goes outside.

Whoa whoa whoa... was that an insult?  >:(  Because everyone else is smart enough not to poke the bear...  ;)

They may not spell all that well over there, but they do know how to put a sentence together so that it makes sense. :)

So, why is "Eats, Shoots & Leaves" so popular and necessary over there?

American Tourists? :)

Personally, I'd think people like it for the humour.

I like reading stuff like that for the humour.

Er, tell me if I'm missing something, but isn't this the JOKES forum?

Like the Irishman who saw a sign saying Drink Canada Dry - so he went and did.
