The Pelican Protection Society.

What are you laughing at?

The Pelican Protection Society.

Postby Fozzer » Wed Sep 10, 2003 12:18 pm

I spotted this outside the petrol station near my local branch of Sainsburys supermarket today, so, with my trusty camera to hand....
I just couldn't resist it...!
I could see the funny side of this and spent the rest of my shopping trip chuckling to myself... ;D... ;D... ;D...!

Just a warning that pregnant pelicans have just as much right to cross the road in safety as we humans do...!
LOL...LOL...LOL..!

Cheers all...!
Paul.
Hereford).

Note: A "Pelican Crossing" here in England is a pedestrian crossing, with traffic lights operated by the pedestrians. The "hump" is a raised portion of road in the area to slow the traffic down.... ;)...!
"Humping" is an occupation which totally consumes the mind of adolescent males, (including male Pelicans).
(It's a distant memory to me now).... :'(...!

I don't really know how, or why, but that picture reminded me of something - If any of you have been to American resturaunts, you likely have seen the signs posted in the restrooms - "Don't Spread Disease - Wash Your Hands"

Some genious wrote "in the toilet"

One of a kind!  ;D

Reminds me of the Discovery commercial about old, funny laws, which proclaims it is prohibited for a moose to have sex on a pedestrian crossing (Canadian law, wasn't it?)
