The Gender of Inanimate Objects

ZIPLOC BAGS: Male - because they hold everything in, but you can
always see right through them.

COPIER: Female - because once turned off, it takes a while to
warm up; because it is an effective reproductive device when the
right buttons are pushed; and because it can wreak havoc when
the wrong buttons are pushed.

TIRE: Male - male, because it goes bald and often is over
inflated.

HOT AIR BALLOON: Male = because to get it to go anywhere you
have to light a fire under it... and, of course, there's the hot
air part.

SPONGES: Female = because they are soft and squeezable and
retain water.

WEB PAGE: Female - because it is always getting hit on.

SUBWAY: Male - because it uses the same old lines to pick people
up.

HOURGLASS: Female - because over time, the weight shifts to the
bottom.

HAMMER: Male - because it hasn't evolved much over the last
5,000 years, but it's handy to have around.

REMOTE CONTROL: Female - Ha! You thought it would be male. But
consider, it gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and
while he doesn't always know the right buttons to push, he keeps
trying.

isn't that more of a girls joke? There aren't any other females in here so you are talking to yourself. That is the first sign of madness!!! (the 2nd is answering yourself, The 3rd is arguing with yourself, The 4th is having hairs on the palms of your hands and the 5th is looking for them)
Lets call you a doctor to bring you to a nice mental hospital with your very own padded cell!

Not forgetting German. The school have spent the last 5 years trying to get me to learn that certain objects require a differant spelling of "the". ::)

You Just Hold On One Second!

Aircraft: Male - Because every single one serves a dutiful pupose with loyal devotion.

Computers: Female - Because once you commit to one, all the great features seem to disappear, and all the better ones make their appearance.

Nitro Glycerin: Female - 'Cause it will blow up on you at the slightest provocation.

Guns: Male - Because you just can't beat raw power... ;D

Cars: Female - Because all the newer ones are just so fun to examine, but you can never seem to get your hands on the one you want.

Sharks: Male - Because they're largely misunderstood, and only dangerous if you go to great lengths to do so.

The Moon: Female - You never really seem to see the 'other side'

Ships: Female - Because to look their best, they need constant attention.
