Today's nightmare...

The scene which "greeted?" me this morning when I came downstairs...>>>

Image

Photographed through my living room window, (too bloody cold to go outside to take the shot), and the misty effect on the glass was caused by my heavy breathing trying to keep warm inside!

For all you Floridans and Texicans, etc, who would love to see some snow, I am freighting the bloody stuff over to you via FEDEX...
...and you can keep the bloody stuff... [smiley=evil.gif]...!

I just hope Ive got enough goodies to eat and drink in my larder, 'cos I wont be going shopping on my motor-bike for a while... :(...!

Our part of the World at the moment...>>>

Paul...Sat in my 'puter chair, with all my winter woollies on...(waiting for Summer... ::)...)

Temp: -2*C
Pressure: 29.53. Falling slowly.

... ;)... ;)... ;)...!

Good morning Paul... :)

We had snow for Christmas Day and now all we see is green grass.

The river is open again but still lots of ice.

Not sure how much snow there is north of us as we are right on Lake Ontario.

Farmers in this area want snow and lots of it so there will not be a shortage of well water.
Last year was a dry summer, no rain to speak of and no snow last winter.

Right now it is minus 17 Celsius without the wind chill.

On our way out so the old girl can get her hair done... ::)     :-X and then we have a doctor's appointment.

Will make our way up to the flying club by 11:00am to chew the rag and listen to the old girl tell Tall Tales... :o

Stay warm and have a great day... ;)
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

It's always nice to know that Britons call us "Texicans." You crossed a line there.
Constructive criticism appreciated.

He called me a "Floridan", which I suppose is better than what the rest of the US calls us - Floridiots.
"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!" - Sen. John Blutarsky

You know, this used to be a helluva good country. I don't understand what's gone wrong with it. - George Hanson, 1969

A bad day at golf is better than a good day at work.

Paul,

Feel for you brother. It was 60* in Denver today. Although we went 5 days last week it never got above freezing. I didn't leave my house for 3 days  :'(

Weather over in Ireland:
Cloudy inbetween the showers.
Tempretures ranging from 2 to 7 degrees celcius.

Pretty much sums up the entire year. ;D

But, we sure do need the moisture! Besides... it'll all be gone by next week anyway! :P

Wow - I'll feel sorry for you after our next week of -30C weather and/or six feet of snow. ;D
-2 degrees? That's T-shirt weather (not joking) for a Northern Canadian. ;D

My advice: Embrace it and make a snowman. Cheers! ;D
