Canadian Thanksgiving

Postby Flying Trucker » Sat Oct 06, 2012 9:37 am

Good morning all... :)

This is a long holiday weekend for us Canucks, Monday, October 8th is our Thanksgiving.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thanksgiving

A little rain this morning but the sky is clear and blue, very little wind so it is really CAVU (clear air, visibility unlimited).

We just got back from seeing some friends off to Florida in their boat which sleeps eight.

In Germany on the 3rd of October, we have Tag der Deutschen Einheit (day of German unity). For that privilege, we pay 5,5% of our total income tax (I pay 40%) to the fund for the former East............but they do give us the day off ;D ;D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
