Thursday Night Dinner For 1

Postby Mike.. » Thu Apr 19, 2012 8:01 pm

The Wife went out to her moms so what is a guy to do? I know! Jump on his new grill on his new grill deck and cook a 28oz flat iron steak lightly seasoned with garlic salt and herbs and use the side burner to saute some new potato's and portobello shrooms in a garlic butter sauce. And several domestics to wash it down ;D

Pardon the poor picture quality. Used my iPhone. I took the liberty of taking a slice out to show the how it came out. Medium rare...yummy.

Mike.......Full ;D

Not bad... Not bad!

I was in a steaky mood, so I made a cross between steak-diane and chateaubriand. A nice creamy sauce of shallots, mushrooms, garlic, tarrogon, butter and mustard. A few drops of worcester sauce to top it off.

The steak is seasoned and fried, then cooked in the sauce. The potatoes were parboiled and sauteed to go alongside

No pictures though... It went down very quickly! Yum!  ;D

I'm afraid that Beef Steak is far too expensive for my kitchen... :'(..!

Its a luxury for Birthdays and Divorces... ::)...!

...with gravy!... :D...!

Paul... ;D...!

..by the way...I like mine suitably cremated (well done), rather than medium, or rare...
...no funny, tummy upsets then!... ;)...!

I had another of my amazing Savoury Minces, with everything, for Dins again, today.... :-*...
....(Very cheap Beef Steak, minced up into very small pieces!)... ;D...!
