Flight Simulator Games

Postby Flying Trucker » Mon Apr 09, 2012 12:06 pm

Goodly afternoon all... :)

Did not know where to type this out as I do not think it belongs in:
-Current Flight Simulator Series
-Other Websites

I have some time on my hands waiting for my order of Add-Ons to arrive from Florida for FSX.

I got browsing the internet and I found several interesting sites.

-Pro Flight Simulator

http://www.proflightsimulator.com/

-Flight Simulator 11

http://www.flightsimulator.se/index.html

Both sites looked good but have left me wondering about a couple of things.

I have just ordered and waiting for:
-REX
-3D Lights
-FSX Booster
-2 ORBX Sceneries

From the pictures I see in proflightsimulator FSX looks more realistic.
The lights don't look that good and neither do the graphics.
And most of the aircraft are probably available for FSX...

FS11 is FSX with the addons you have.
It would be even better to get accu-feel too I suppose...

Doug. Pro Flight Simulator is a re-branding of the FlightGear open-source flight simulator. You can download it here free of charge --> http://www.flightgear.org/download/

Flight Simulator 11 is simply FSX with selected payware addons.

If I was really serious about this I think Prepar3D Academic is worth checking out. http://www.prepar3d.com/prepar3d-academic/

Prepar3D is the only worth successor to FSX, because it IS FSX with fixes and optimizations. But it's still not the correct moment to buy it, it's still too soon, the soft hasn't got enough "goodies" yet.

Pro Flight Simulator is a scam. They are trying to SELL a software which is free. It should be avoided like filth. They even hire people to make false advertisement about it on some forums, for example Flight Sim World forums. Fortunately, the people over there are well aware about what kind of trap (replace a letter there) this soft is.

FS11 is indeed just FSX with some paywares.

Outerra is a whole world sim. Cars, Boats, Planes etc.

It uses the same Flight Dynamics program as Flightgear.

To get the A/C you have to buy it.

There are two modes, free play, fly, drive whatever & Anteworld where you have to rebuild Earth.

And it has a LONG way to go before it's done...

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.
