The pork looks awesome!. I'm curious about the potatos though. You had em in another shot and they look very tasty. What kind of potatos are they and you say you roasted them? As in tossed them in an oven and let em brown like that? They look deep fried.....which would probly be great as well ;D. I look forward to your guidance master chef ;D

Mike......ready to make a grocery run ;D

Hello Mike..

Roast Potatoes:
I have two choices.
Par-boil a couple of halved, Marris Piper potatoes, drained, and tossed in the dry saucepan to make them slightly "fluffy", then roasted in Duck Fat, until they are browned and crisp on the outside....

...or... ;)...

Buy a bag of these....>>> http://www.ocado.com/webshop/product/Au ... s/22044011 popped in the oven, on a tray, for 30-45 minutes whilst the meat is roasting... ;)...!

Guess which quick method I used on this occasion... ;)...!

Paul... ;D...!

I can't get those here but I have a suspicion that I could use canned New Potatoes and pop em in the deep fryer for the same effect. I usualy get the sliced new potatos and pan fry em in butter in parcely, maybe a hint of garlic salt. I could probly smoke em too...Guess I got a couple of different ways to try soon. Thanks for the heads up Fozz ;)

Great Britain is the land of Potato Eaters!

Take great care in selecting Potatoes for certain usage in cooking.

http://www.allotment.org.uk/vegetable/p ... r-type.php

Maris Piper potatoes are are always selected for Chipping and Roasting.
Chip Shops swear by them!

Some types of potato are most unsuitable for Chipping and Roasting!...Take care in the selection!

Just me again, and this is danish

The brown potatos are what we call "brune kartofler", potatoes turned in melted sugar.
