I don't know how the winter was across the puddle, but her in the Midwest USA, we had an exceptionally mild winter.  Seriously, I think we had maybe three good snowfalls and I don't remember it getting below zero (F) even once...   :)

Hardly any snow here in Southern Ontario along Lake Ontario.
We had lots of wind.

It was supposed to rain yesterday and today but the sun shone yesterday and is shining today.... ::)

..its the "brightness" of the landscape that I am after, on a bright sunny day.

The landscape doesn't "shine brightly" when we program a sunny weather scene.

Certain parts, cornfields, etc, show up nice and "yellow", but any area which is covered by dark green foliage is always "dull", even though the sun is shining brightly overhead!

I have adjusted the RGB settings in my GE Pro to make the scenery appear "brighter", but it still doesn't replicate a hot, Summer mid-day, with a clear blue sky!

I need to feel; "warmth" around me... ;D...!

Of course now that I have said this, the temperatures have dropped to almost freezing at night and I'm getting that little tickle in my throat that tells me a cold is coming on...   :P

The thing I love about my FS 2004 Flight Sim, is that no matter how wet, miserable, and horrible, and cold, the weather is outside in my back garden, I can fire up the Flight Sim, select a gorgeous, clear blue sky, warm, sunny, mid-day, in Summer, or early Autumn, and transport myself into the inviting Californian scenery I see before me!
I just wish that the Sim scenery around me was; "Brighter", to replicate those exact conditions, and bring an even bigger smile to my face!

Paul...In amongst the bright, golden cornfields of CAL Central Valley!... ;D...!

Have you ever tried to play around with the ENB bloom for FS9 ?
When configured properly, it can give some pretty nice results with lights and colors.
Of course, if it's not configured properly, it can also produce totally unrealistics results like if you were flying on drugs...

What settings DO you use for ENB bloom in FSX?
Yours seem quite light but mine are kind of dark. :-/

I found Bloom for FS 2004, (I think), downloaded it, and installed it...

I don't know if its my imagination, but when I select my Summer flights now, in southern California, with a clear blue sky, I've got an idea this; "Bloom" may be brightening up my scenery?
My cultivated, and grass fields, suddenly seem more; "sun-shiny"?
The sky also seems much brighter, blue high up, and whiter/brighter lower down!

The thing is....whereabouts is this; "Bloom" program located, and can it be configured in any way?

Something seems to have done the trick!

Note: FS 2004!

Paul...A blooming good show!... ;)...!
