Time helps. If the buyer takes their time and taps into the EAA community it is completely doable. Remember, we are not talking about a Corsair or a Mustang here. It is a small, single place, single engine home-built racer. People with rather average incomes (and no aircraft building experience) build planes all the time. Usually it takes between 5 and 10 years to do, but with time this project is completely possible. If this hangs around until I graduate I will take a crack at it. I have never built a full size plane, but I know enough to learn whatever would be needed and I know I can use the local EAA chapter for guidance.

Aviation is all about conquering barriers and getting into the air!
