Having a go at exotic food

Postby Ivan » Mon Oct 10, 2011 12:47 pm

Was invited by my girlfriend last weekend for dinner and had a great evening with delicious food...

Started with lentil soup (with loads of vermicelli)
Main dish was kurdish style dolma and borek
Finished with apple pie

(Fixed spelling error... thanks Fozzer)

I would be a bit worried about Lintel soup... :o..!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lintel_%28architecture%29

I've got them supporting my window frames, made of reinforced concrete..

Rather tough, I would surmise?... ::)... ;D...!

Now Lentil Soup, made with Lentils, is quite another matter..

Yummy!

Paul...Chicken and Leek soup... :)...!

P.S...I put Pearl Barley and Lentils in my various Casseroles and Stews... 8-)...!

..sorry, Ivan... ;)...!
