Detective Spooner, "Human beings have dreams. Even dogs have dreams, but not you, you are just a machine. An imitation of life. Can a robot write a symphony? Can a robot turn a... canvas into a beautiful masterpiece?............."

Sonny, "No, but I can loot a high street faster than any Chav in town"
"A bit of a pickle" - British translation: A catastrophically bad situation with potentially fatal consequences.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Just like in the movies, "Scientists are only concerned about IF they can do it, not SHOULD they do it."

For some reason, I'm not a fan of all the work in creating a real artifical intelligence.  I guess I have watched "Terminator", "I, Robot", and all the other movies that deal with an artificial intelligence gone wrong way too many times.

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.

And what makes me sad is that everyone is complaining about unemployment and yet They are busy making things that can replace them. Like I have a washing machine and that depletes the need to have a maid. The washing machine never asks you for a pay raise, always does it's job well, Can dry if the weather is too cold, doesn't need food. The maid is the exact opposite. No prizes for guessing which I will go for :-/

I think Einstein said it best "Two things are infinite, the Universe and human stupidity. And I'm not too sure about the Universe" ;D
As long as they remember to program the machines with Asimovs Laws we'll be fine.... but someone is bound to forget ::)

Nice, Real nice... Leave the machine that is capable of automatically downloading data (Which was the problem in I robot) Install it, obey it, transmit it to other devices in minutes, For something that basically just. sucks :-/.
And You are watching the Vacuum like a hawk and typing here, Seems skynet was transported back in time and found Mark!!!
