Silly Books

Postby ozzy72 » Wed Aug 03, 2011 1:17 pm

I've recently found a load of my old favourite books, and they're still making me smile. So what I'm going to ask is post books that make you laugh no matter what or how many times you've read them. I don't mean sensible stuff like Bill Bryson (who I find very funny) but I mean properly silly!
So here are some of mine;
The Compleet Molesworth - Geoff Willans
The Book of Bunny Suicides - Andy Riley
The Return of The Bunny Suicides - Andy Riley
Teach Yourself Australian In 20 Easy Lessons - Colin Bowles
Far Side (Any) - Gary Larson
The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy/Dirk Gently - Douglas Adams

I loved the hitchhikers series and Dirk Gently.

Kurt Vonnegut's books make me laugh out loud, especially Slaughterhouse V, that book is hilarious.

The Far Side - Gary Larson  (I shed a few tears when he retired)

Sh*t My Dad Says - Justin Halpern
