I know how a dartboard feels

Postby ozzy72 » Thu Jul 28, 2011 1:47 pm

Just given blood. Only took them about 47 shots to get the needle in.
My left arm is going to be an interesting shade of purple tomorrow :P ;D

Ouch. Why did it take 47 shots?
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

I know how you feel Mark. The last time I went to the doctor, he wanted lab tests. After making pincushions out of both inner elbows and both wrists,

she was finally able to get some from the top of my right thumb. My veins are deep and they roll, so I have this problem each and every time.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

The problem was it was a very hot and humid day, now with these sort of conditions it is much harder to get a vein. There is a flip side, you "give" much quicker, my pint was out in 6mins and 41 secs which is an all-time record! I normally take a good 10-15 mins :o :o :o

So how much sympathy did you get from your mum then, or need I not ask. Maybe she should have done the procedure ;D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

If mum had done it she'd have used a rusty drain pipe as a needle ;D I'm not her favourite person.... The only reason I got absolution was because I've supplied grandchildren ;D ;D ;D
