Well Mini-Mod is no longer a Primary School student, come September she will be in Middle School! Heaven help me, I've already forked out a fortune on all the new uniform and PE kit.
However there was final assembly this morning and I went along and watched my daughter get a couple of awards and get on stage and talk to a room packed with all the other students and various family members of students (mostly mums).
I'm really proud of her and her progress in the last 2 years... and I'm really grateful she has her mother's brains ;D ;D ;D

Whist we are having a proud parent moment, my oldest has just finished the second year and came home with his first school report (they only get a narrative in the first) A report card full of one's and two's  :) :)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I still remember my last day at primary school. I still remember my last day at secondary school. Due to the alcohol, I do not remember the end of college

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Well pride in the pride is no bad thing, I've been along to the local supermarket to get her a special treat, the worlds biggest bag of Mint Aero Bubbles. She is only allowed these sort of things on special occassions. I think today qualifies ;D
Thanks for the kind words guys, I'm still full of that warm fuzzy glow... and I've not even eaten any porridge ;D
