Yes a shame, but they had five years to sort it out. Opening to the public twice a year, they have thrown a business opportunity away. They should have taken a note out of the book of the Wonderland Railway in Hamburg. Go to Youtube and check it out. It even has a working airport with arriving and departing aircraft :o

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I don't know why they didn't reach out to the public sooner Matt. From the comments I read below the article many Montrealers weren't aware of thier existance. Could have been some building codes or bylaws in the way. The club members came from all walks of life, including some lawyers.
Someone posted the Railway in Hamburg before and they had the right idea, (might have been yourself). Thats the way to get kids involved in things that aren't on a flat screen.    8-)
