A simple conversion I use is 16C X 2 + 32 = 64F (aprox.) Yesterday was in the low 80s however. Stay cool, Larry.

I just work it out in my head...

C to F... Multiply by 9, divide by 5, add 32.
F to C... Minus 32, times by 5, divide by 9 (or divide by 10, then add on a further tenth of that)

Gets you to within half a degree usually.

Living here in the United States of America the temp is shown both ways, "F" for fahrenheit, and "C" for all those Canadians out there! [smiley=laugh.gif]

Man, you still with that old and rickety Fahrenheit scale over there? :-?

...and pounds (meant as weight measurement, not quids), yards, statute miles and gallons too? :P

What will it take for you to join the rest of the world in the third millennium... I do not want to know. ::) ;D

After the hot spell and the cooler air mass pushes in then comes the storms and tornadoes. We topped out at 16C today. A simple conversion I use is 16C X 2 + 32 = 64F (aprox.) Yesterday was in the low 80s however. Stay cool, Larry.

I'll try Steve.

We had a record high today of 105F. It's 1813 hours and still 103 outside, 84 inside with air conditioning and ceiling fans on wide open.

Just a little while ago I was lookin' at "La Nina" effects.......looks like extra-chilled Fosters is a 'side effect' much like our recent tornado outbreaks.

I know a few folks that'd trade ya a chill factor for their recent 150mph+ breezy encounters. :o
