Thats right, you heard it.... on TV now, pick your local news channel and watch it.  President Obama is going to be on in just a little bit to publicly "OFFICIALLY" declare that Bin Laden 'IS' Dead!!!

Awesome news! The war or terror is not yet over, but this is a huge step in the right direction.

Meh, then again...I'll believe it when We get photos of the body. Oh, wait, we threw it in the ocean.... ::)

A fitting end for someone whose very existence could be doubtful.

It happened about a week ago by some of the reports I've heard. So they had time for a photo op, DNA tests and preparations for sea burial according to Muslim tradition.

The fish won't eat that, and thus he will decompose to become oil in many millions of years. Hopefully we will have left this planet and BP won't be able to unleash the horror back again.

The President said last night that it happened yesterday morning. My question, is where did they get the DNA to compare it to?

Please remember guys to keep this logical. Once it gets emotional it's gets away from facts - and this thread will be locked.

Keep it logical and this thread can stay open.

Any hate talk. Any one sided political views. Any ridiculous talk about whole groups of people and this thread gets locked.

There are plenty of sites out there to vent your feelings. This is not one of them.

I heard a report that says it happened last week, and I also heard it happened yesterday. I also heard a news report that claimed we got him with a bomb/missile strike... :-?

So the skeptic in me has more questions than answers
