A weird way to get a new book

Postby TacitBlue » Wed Mar 23, 2011 10:09 pm

It's called "Woodworking With Scraps" by Percy W. Blandford. I found it at a local shooting range today when I went to do a little target shooting*. Someone had left it down range presumably as a target, but didn't even hit it once. It's 400 pages on how to build things with otherwise junk wood like old pallets and shipping crates. I love to build things and I'm glad that "whoever" left it for me.

What kind of ignorant person would shoot a book? ::)

*Target shooting is a sport and a hobby. I'm not violent and I don't kill people. No anti-gun stuff please. ;)

Aircraft are naturally beautiful because form follows function. -TB

Shooting books would be second only to burning them. That said I've read a couple of books that I'd cheerful burn as they were so bad I wouldn't even give them to a charity shop as some other poor innocent might have to damage the brain with 'em! I won't mention any authors.... as I don't want to be sued ;D
