Floats that break ice?

Postby Flying Trucker » Wed Dec 15, 2010 11:54 am

Good afternoon all... :)

I have taxied through very very thin ice on EDO Floats with the Otter, but again it is a tricky procedure.

I wish this site had provided more information as we were talking about winter flying at the bugsmasher field earlier.

Still a good read if you are interested in winter operations and float flying... ;)

Another interesting site which I have posted before...don't faint at the prices... ;D

Might it be time to fit those James Bond floats with built in SMGs? ;D

Goodly morning Mark... :)

I am sure someone has thought of that by now... ;D

After all they did put machine guns in the wheel fairings of the Royal Air Force Westland Lysander Aircraft to kill the weeds when landing I guess... ::)
