Too bad it's not in Bowling Green, KY. You could go to the National Corvette Museum.
That's not quite the same thing -- even though some seems to think their Corvettes are planes.
I meant in addition to, not instead of. And I thought it was Ferrari owners that thought they could fly.
I know you know I knew what you meant -- but even a Volkswagen driver actually took his car to flight: doing @ 70mph, the air caught uinder his car on a high, open elevation curve of the interstate and he went airborn -- straight off the road.

Did he have a JATO strapped to the roof? ::)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

[color=#000000]Ok, this is getting weird. When I first came on a few minutes ago, I had a new PM. I read and responded to it. Did you get my response to your PM Paul? When I went back to the main page, there was another notification of a new message. I went back to User CP and it was the same PM. I checked, and my sent msg was in the sent folder. I

I'm not sure the seat belt was strapped in place but the unintentional jet assist was probably in the driver's pants.
