I wonder of there are Health and Safety Officials resident on Alpha Centauri...waiting for us to arrive?.... ::).... ;D...!

Not yet. But don't tell the folks in Brussels. The EU will make the Alpha Centauri start a committee to check on Health and Safety...

Do you know...

..as well as the ever visible, and invisible, Video Cameras surrounding us, we also have the Health and Safety Inspectorate, RSPCA, RSPCC, (Coppers?), Uncle Tom Cobbly and all, etc, people watching our every move, and waiting to pounce on us, unawares....
I think many of the annoying people who choose to work for them, deserve a poke in the eye now and again... ;)...!

Paul...with a pointy stick... ;)... :)...!

I hate being; "watched"... >:(...!

Paul ........ if you don't like being watched then stop dancing round naked in your garden shouting I'm a little teapot short and stout at the top of your voice.
It's bound to attract attention :D

At work we must sign several hundred health and safety forms twice a year. Name, signature, position.

What does it do? It means we're signing to say that paper can cut, stairs present a trip hazard, beer kegs are heavy when full, etc. Those are actually real ones. The only useful one was about bomb safety and what to do in the event of a suspected attack... I had no idea of that one actually. The others, well, they were pointlessly obvious.

Who is there to blame? The stupid people. The sue-happy and those who would be Darwin Award worthy. So yet again it's the people causing problems for the people.

Here's another one that I find rather strange ...... Bus drivers wearing reflective jackets ..... WHILST DRIVING!!!
In and around the depot when walking about ...... yes ...... if moving around the outside of the bus when out on the road..... yes..... whilst driving NO!! ....... unless you want to make yourself an easier target for the yobs in certain parts of some cities in the UK.

Either they're cold or just too darned lazy to take them off. ;)

H&S have reached new levels of silly in Afghanistan, the AH-64D drivers for the AAC are now not allowed to eat sandwiches on the flight line, they are only allowed pasties and other sealed foodstuffs due to sand!
Hello? These guys are getting shot at by the Taliban but a sarnie is too dangerous? H&S, mad as cheese :P :P :P ;D ;D ;D

The most overlooked safety hazard are those catering trucks that take your cash and leave your bum in a rash..  ::)

There are times when I have fallen out of Bed, and feared that there may be a Health and Safety Official watching me from inside my Wardrobe, ready to ban me from ever using my Bed, ever again...
I'm still falling out of bed -- and I don't have even one. :-/
