Well shoot, I'm going to be in Indianapolis on Thursday, but by Saturday I'm going to be in the middle of Kansas. Bad timing I suppose. :'(

Wouldn't be practical for me during that time-frame even though I'm the second closest to you here. (Pennsylvania)

Enjoy the flight, and take plenty of pictures!
:)

...and don't forget... ::)...!

No lose objects in the Cockpit, so don't drop your Camera under the Rudder Pedals!..... :o.... :o....!

Keep it strapped around your neck!... ;)... ;D...!

Paul.... 8-)...!

Enjoy the flight, Shane!

I'm in Southern California. Just hire a pilot to fly an MD500 over here, pick me up, and bring me to the plane.  ;D

Keep it strapped around your neck!..
How can he lose the camera when it jams the control -- and won't it be a little difficult for plane control if the rudder pedal is strapped to his neck?

Unfortunately, the Baron was down for repair, so I got to choose between their Skyhawk, and a Cherokee...

it didn't even require a second thought.  ;)

I was flying it pretty much as soon as it left the ground, aside from a few minutes before entering the approach where the pilot showed us some rather intense negative-G dives, and some extremely banked turns.

I had practiced in the sim all morning, so I knew where I wanted to go, and how to get there, flew right to my house so that we could get a few pics of it from the air.  8-)

There was a bit of excitement near the end when a Bonanza that had departed just before we did, had also arrived back just before we did, and he had forgot to turn his radio on, and announce where he was in the pattern, and we didn't spot him, until we were almost on top of him.  :o

This was also my son's first time flying, and he absolutely loved it!  He didn't care much for the high banked turns though.  ;D  ;)

I'll post some select shots in the photo section, but the entire set of pics from the  flight is located here if you'd like to see them all: http://s776.photobucket.com/albums/yy43 ... %20flight/

We even got a few of that inconsiderate Bonanza.  8-)

Bit of a shame about the Baron 58, Shane!... :'(...!

It would have been nice to have experienced a ride in our favourite Piston Twin!... :)...!

The hum of those twin, six-cylinder, Continentals!... ::)...!

I assume the Bonanza had the vertical stabiliser and not the V-Tail?

All the same, I bet your and you Lad enjoyed the flight, something to tell his school Mates!

Paul.... :)...!

The Bonanza did indeed have the V-tail.  ;)

Gorgeous looking plane up close.

There was another twin in the hangar, I don't recognize it, and I forgot to ask what it was.  :-[

For the cost, I'd say I'll be going back quite often.  ;)

And my pilot, was a flight instructor, although I'll have to research their $36 per hour rate before I commit to it.  8-)

We have a Bonanza B35, V-Tail in out local Hangar...gathering dust!

You must go up again, if its not too costly...in our Trusty Baron next time!.. ;)... ;)...!

Great find on that Piper!   [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

She looks a little more dusty now, than she did in that A-net shot.  :'(
