Home-made Air Conditioners

This is done every day on a larger scale, such as geothermal cooling. To be be efficient you would need a larger external natural water source. Powerfull pumps are not necessary, just a slow flow of water. Insulated supply lines would improve it greatly. Powerfull fans .. not needed. just an airflow. It's a great entry level ac unit. Air conditioners traditionally start the cooling process by heating Freon or other fluids and sending them to a compressor, consuming far more energy than the above idea, and AC units still dont work without an internal fan.

Its a neat idea but far more expensive in the long run.

I have a recipe that uses two pints of whipping cream and a can of condensed milk. The recipe, originally strawberry, came with a freezer I won as a door prize and we just tried it without the strawberries. It's the best vanilla I've ever had, but it's very easy to modify for other flavors. Alas, thanks to diabetes, I can no longer afford it, sugar wise. I now what you are going to say, "I could eat just a small portion." But you're wrong, with this recipe, that is just not possible.
No, for the same reason, you know I don't use crystal sugar... and the artificial 'sugars' ('artificial sweetener' is a true oxymoron for something that actually sweetens!) should work full force in a cold formula (heat tends to weken them); I, obviously, use the sugarless sweetened pudding mixes.

The problem with this recipe is not the sugar, as you could use Splenda. The problem is with the condensed milk and whipping cream. I have found that I can not taste the difference between sugar and Splenda in almost any use.
