I walk about with a smile on my face (actually more like a stupid grin
) & find that people of all ages generally smile back. It makes my day when pretty young ladies flash me a lovely smile & say Hello. [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

Perhaps blind, Hagar...You obviously have a chip on your shoulder about this. I wonder if it shows in your body language. I don't know what the old fogies are like up your way...

Unlike that old misery guts Fozzer, I enjoy going out & meeting people.I walk about with a smile on my face (actually more like a stupid grin
) & find that people of all ages generally smile back. It makes my day when pretty young ladies flash me a lovely smile & say Hello. [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

Archive everything you've said here about the elderly, and when you're 75 (or "When I'm 64"), read it again.

As I said, it's not the pensioners, it's just the elder... Kind of past 35-40 mark and people seem to ignore the world around them.
They don't even have to be a pensioner, though the majority are.

The paths are not wide, so it doesn't help when two people walk right at you and don't move. Your only options are to; stand still and hope they eventually move; walk in the road (not nice for the drivers around you) or keep going.

If everyone was a little more tolerant this world would be a much better place.
