Steve, I know exactly how you feel. I have been in this position myself a couple of times and will probably be doing it again in the next 18 months. My old boy is at my feet as I type. He is 12 years old, a Belgium Shepard black lab cross. Due to his size, he is huge, he is slowing down as each day passes. 2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
