Iphone...

Postby skoker » Mon Jun 21, 2010 8:18 pm

Tried to update today.  It keeps getting stuck on the backing up portion.  I googled it and people have been reporting it taking up to 4hrs.  So I'll be here, waiting.... :D

So did it really need that update, or are you fiddling with a working system...........If it aint broke, don't fix it, but since when did that apply to an Iphoner ;D ;D

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I was under the impression that an iPhone is always 'broken' and it's impossible to 'fix' it.....just wasting your time Jordan :P

I refuse to buy Apple products because of the reasons listed above. Just hate it.

Tried to update my I-pod Touch 8Gb (I-phone without a phone) sometime ago. It locked up. Had to take it back to the store to get it fixed. I'm still using it but will never ever do another update on it.

Carlo ;) (still it's one of the best MP3 players around)

[color=#000000]What bother's me the most about this, is that there is already a term called 'bricking' and that I actually knew what it meant without ever hearing it before.

Wow, I got iOS 4.0 working fine on my iPod Touch 32Gb; and I have over 3,000 photos on it.

[edit]Does the term "bricking" mean turning the iPhone into an object about as useful as a brick? ;D[/edit]

I have no Apple products and I don't plan to. Having said that, I am biased. I only use Microsoft products and have rarely touched anything by Apple.

In all fairness, the iPods and iPhones are generally very good, just aren't very flexible or robust.
