They're giving another shot at stopping up the leak using, guess what?

A tactic they already tried.

I find it amusing that when Nuclear has an accident such as TMI that hurts nobody people get all up in arms about how apparently dangerous Nuclear reactors are. Yet when an oil rig explodes or a natural gas plant explodes and kills several people, everyone accepts that?

it will probably work... I suggested to BP that they put a new BOP on to prevent or lessen the amount of oil being spewed.

well they can cap the cut they made with a new BOP, It won't stop the leak but will slow lessen it.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

So does this mean we'll have you to thank when they fix it.
:-?

Everything BP does never works, so they should probably get advice from someone else. They've failed 4 attempts to stop it and today going for 5!!! Yay!

They are still trying, and they always seem to have alternate plans to try.
