I fire up my FS 2004,

Switch on my Hammond B3 Drawbar Organ,

Select an interesting flight, switch on Autopilot...

And accompany myself with suitable background music.. ;)...!

Wonderful stuff!.... ;D...!

B3, the only way to fly. I assume you have a Leslie Paul.

[color=#000000]Uh, with the number of musicians here and the equipment they have, (mostly Paul), maybe you should rent an An-225 instead.

Can't have a band without a bass. Bass and drums are the rhythm and soul of the music.

I try playing Bass every now and again...on the Bass Guitar, and Keyboards...

..but the trouble is, being a Guitarist, I get carried away sometimes, and start playing the Bass like a rhythm/solo; "Guitar"...

....and playing chords!.... :o...

...which you are not supposed to do... ;D...!

A simple Bass pattern is the way to go!... ::)... ;D....!

I always admire Drummers and Bass players.

They are the "Metronome" of the group, ticking away, in perfect time!

Paul.... :)...!

Au contraire Paul. You can play chords on a bass. You just have to coordinate the other hand properly. But I prefer bass played the way John Entwistle did, hand above the strings, fingers pointing down, and plucking with one, two, or three as needed. Never liked bass played with a pick. We used to swap around sometimes, where I would play bass or keyboard, keyboard would play bass or guitar, and bass would play guitar or keyboard. I could never be a real bass player, but I always enjoyed playing one.

The ultimate one-man-band on my Hammond B3...

Bass on the Pedals; left foot, Accompaniment/Chords on the lower manual; left hand, Solo on the upper manual; right hand.....
Right foot on the Expression Pedal........

....and frantic excursions to the Leslie fast/slow switch with the left hand!....not to mention the Drawbars and various Tabs!

That's a sure-fire way to get your knickers in a twist!... ;D...!

Paul....with twisted under-pants...and a squeaky voice! ;D... ;D.. ;D...!

I played bass in a band for a while, it was a lot of fun. I got carried away sometimes too but I usually made it fit in with the rest of the music. ;)

I've got an Ovation 12 string and a Gibson 6 string. (accoustics)
Haven't played in 8 years now, since I had a tendon transplant in my hand.
