I smashed my right middle finger but good from the middle joint forward last October 1st. Broke the third and forth fingers as well. The Nurse Practicioner in the e-room put everything back together in the middle finger as best she could, which the orthopedic specialist later said was as good as he could have done. All good so far?
Beleive me or not, but the most painful thing was when she pulled the middle fingernail off. Just grabbed it with a pair of pliers and yanked. No warning or anything. My hand simply went from shocked numbness to me pissing myself. And the fingernail yank seemed to wake up the nerves in the rest of my hand. Double owwwieee!
