That's why I never pay anyone to do anything to my car that doesn't require a lift or tools I can't afford.  ::)

My last brake job on my van was 2800 Canucky bucks! Compliments of the company of course. And an invitation to our mechanics summer home in the north.  :D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Brake pads don't usually come with a service thats where your money went ;)they'll check and maybe clean the brakes free of dust etc and thats about it. Never known tracking to be done on a service either.

Goodly morning all... :)

We have used the same mechanic for decades, his son now runs the business and never a problem.

I have suggested a tweak here or a tweak there and he will say there is nothing wrong with it.  That I like, someone who knows their stuff and is honest to me the customer.

At Christmas they give their customers a bottle of wine which is always nice.  Our Insurance Company does the same thing.

I guess we have no complaints.   ;)
